System Overclocked Books in Order

System Overclocked takes place in a habitat where humans are literally pets, kept by powerful alien owners who expect them to entertain. Wrench was born and bred to be a Fixer, someone whose job is to crawl through the guts of the Habitat and keep everything running so the show never has to stop. Instead he throws in with a resistance movement that spends years achieving very little beyond getting people killed.

At the end of that wasted life, Wrench is offered a second chance. An enigmatic benefactor sends him back into his own past and gifts him a system like power that lets him alter every aspect of his body—speeding his perception of time, boosting his healing, and rewiring himself into something the Habitat has never seen. The only cost is a favor that will come due someday.

The books track his attempt to do things differently this time. He can choose to rejoin the resistance, seize control of the Fixer hierarchy, or carve out a new role entirely, all while hiding the extent of his abilities from owners who do not see humans as people. System Overclocked is full of body horror, tactical problem solving, and the unsettling question of how much you are willing to rewrite yourself in the name of freedom.
