Stepan Povin Books in Order

A mole inside the KGB is passing Soviet secrets to London, prompting the agency to use Ivan Bucharensky as bait. Under the codename Kyril, he becomes a target for British intelligence, Soviet operatives, and the hidden traitor.

KGB intelligence chief Stepan Povin wants to defect after years of secretly serving the West. His bargaining chip is information about a planned Soviet seizure of an American spy plane, an operation that could provoke nuclear war.

Disgraced former KGB general Stepan Povin survives anonymously in an Arctic prison camp, guarding a secret despite years of interrogation. His knowledge draws British intelligence toward the camp while his captors try to extract the final missing information.
