Series background & context
Shadow City is a supernatural crossroads where shifters, vampires, witches, angels, and demons share the same streets, whether they like it or not. The Silver Wolf arc keeps the spotlight on one heroine trying to survive long enough to become who she was raised to be.
In Broken Mate, she’s the future alpha of the Silver Wolves, and her life has always been about staying hidden and learning to fight. Then her pack is slaughtered, and survival stops being a plan and becomes a chase.
While running, she collides with the one thing she didn’t have time to want, a fated mate. He’s an alpha who can offer protection, but he comes with his own rules, and the mate bond doesn’t make trust automatic.
Being fated doesn’t mean being safe.
Rising Darkness and Silver Moon deepen the relationship and widen the danger, as the reason her pack was targeted starts to matter as much as the person hunting her. The trilogy leans into pack politics, hard choices, and the way trauma can turn leadership into something you have to grow into.
Expect a fast paranormal romance pace with escalating threats and a couple that has to fight for every inch of ground they gain. It’s tightly focused, but you can still feel the wider Shadow City world pressing in, which makes the stakes feel bigger than one pack and one bond.
