Ronald Gray Books in Order

Ronald Gray was born in Washington, D.C., attended high school in Maryland, and later joined the military. After living in several states, he returned to Maryland. Outside writing, he has listed reading, travel, and weightlifting among his interests.

Writing became the work he most wanted to wake up and do.

Gray turned that drive into Black Wall Street New Dream Publishing, the publishing venture behind his early books. He also works through My Provider Productions, a veteran-owned business that presents books alongside music and film-related projects. The business side matters to his story, but the novels remain the center of it.

My Call, first published in 2013, was his first book in print. It introduces David and Sheila O'Neil, their prophesied son Ronald Emmanuel, and the dangerous figure known as Mr. Bones. The story combines family life, crime, material temptation, spiritual conflict, and a battle over Ron's future.

The series kept going.

In My Call II: Mr. Bones Revenge, Ron's desires and relationships are put under heavier pressure while Mr. Bones seeks revenge. My Call III: The Spirit Of Hell Unleashed brings the threat back to the O'Neil family after a period of hard-won peace. My Call IV: The Origin of Mr. Bones shifts attention toward the mystery behind the series' central antagonist and the source of his power.

Gray also writes outside the O'Neil family's story. The Master Deceiver Be Careful What You Ask For follows the Richardson family in Raleigh, North Carolina, as private wishes lead them toward a dangerous spiritual bargain. The shorter Having the Best looks at love, money, sex, and the strain that wanting more can put on a relationship.

Faith is not just a background detail in Gray's work. His books frame spiritual forces as active pressures on ordinary choices, especially choices around money, desire, loyalty, and family. He has said that many of his stories draw on experiences from his own life, alongside imagination and his Christian beliefs.

That gives the fiction a direct, personal feel.
