But the bounty is Blaine, a younger hacker with a target on his back and an ability to make Wags rethink every part of the plan.

Their pursuit turns into a flight from the people who want Blaine harmed. Forced proximity and a one-bed situation add heat to a relationship already complicated by Wags's age, exhaustion, and desire for a fresh start. The novella is an M/M age-gap romance, while The Accidental is sapphic, establishing the series as a space for varied queer pairings within a connected action world.
