Poseidon's Warriors (Alyssa Day) Books in Order

Poseidon's Warriors is Alyssa Day's follow-up to the original Warriors of Poseidon books. The world is the same, but the focus shifts to a newer generation of Atlantean defenders, rougher around the edges, still figuring themselves out, and very much not prepared for how often love is going to complicate their assignments.

The setup is simple and fun. Atlantis needs more protectors, so Poseidon marks new warriors to serve. Denal helps shape this new team, while Queen Riley adds a little matchmaking energy of her own. That means the series balances military-style missions with romantic chaos, which is a pretty good summary of Alyssa Day at her most playful.

The books in this branch of the world are shorter and faster than the original novels. Holiday stories like Halloween in Atlantis and Christmas in Atlantis ease readers into the tone, and then the monthly Year in Atlantis novellas start rolling out. January in Atlantis follows Flynn and Eva, February in Atlantis and March in Atlantis center Jake and Savannah while expanding the broader conflict, April in Atlantis turns to April and Pine, May in Atlantis pairs Gabriel with Erielle, and June in Atlantis brings Rafe together with Saoirse. Each story has its own romantic payoff, but the same larger world keeps connecting them.

That shared world is the point.

These books move between Atlantis and the world above, with missions involving demon dimensions, wolf shifter politics, human supremacist groups, kidnappings, magical artifacts, and supernatural law enforcement. The cast keeps crossing paths, so even when a novella spotlights one couple, there is still a sense of team, court, and ongoing magical trouble in the background. Familiar faces from the earlier Atlantis books also help the series feel rooted rather than completely separate.

The tone is lighter and more openly romantic than the main Warriors of Poseidon sequence, but there is still action. These are quick reads with banter, fast attraction, dangerous assignments, and a lot of movement. If you already like the Atlantis world, they are an easy next step. If you are new, they make more sense after the original series, because so much of the emotional payoff comes from already understanding the kingdom, its history, and the people who run it.

In short, Poseidon's Warriors is the brisker, more novella-driven side of Atlantis. Same magic. Same ocean-born mythology. More new recruits, more matchmaking, and a lot of trouble packed into a small space.
