Persefone Books in Order

The Persefone series is a young adult cyberthriller about Noa Torson and Peter, two smart, isolated teens who are pushed into a fight much bigger than either of them expected. Noa is a gifted hacker who has learned to survive on her own. Peter is part of a loose network of young hackers. Their paths cross when they uncover a conspiracy aimed at people who are easy for the world to overlook.

It begins with Don't Turn Around. Noa wakes in an empty warehouse with a scar on her chest and no memory of how she got there. She soon learns that Pike & Dolan, a powerful pharmaceutical company, is tied to secret medical experiments involving runaway teens. Peter has his own reasons to dig into the company’s systems, and together they become targets for people who have the resources to track, manipulate, and erase anyone who gets too close.

The computers matter, but the people matter more.

Noa and Peter are not presented as perfect superheroes. They are scared, stubborn, and often forced to make decisions before they have enough information. The series gets much of its momentum from that imbalance. Their opponents have money, surveillance, security teams, and institutional power. The teens have their skills, their friends, and the evidence they can gather before it disappears.

In Don't Look Now, the story widens. Noa has joined Persefone’s Army, a group of former subjects trying to locate and free others connected to the experiments. Peter remains in Boston, where his own family ties make the fight more complicated. The two stay connected through private channels while they search for Pike & Dolan’s hidden operations, deal with shaky alliances, and try to work out who can be trusted.

Nobody gets to stay safely on the sidelines.

Don't Let Go brings Noa, Peter, Daisy, and Teo into the final stretch of their battle against Project Persephone. They are carrying encrypted evidence, staying ahead of pursuers, and trying to find a way to expose the company before it can bury the truth. Noa’s declining health adds another urgent clock to the story, so the ending is driven by both the larger conspiracy and the personal stakes for the group.

Expect brisk chapters, hacking and surveillance, dangerous escapes, and friendships tested by secrecy. The series is best read in order, starting with Don't Turn Around, because each book builds directly on the discoveries, relationships, and threats of the one before it.
