One Week In Love Books in Order

The One Week In Love anthologies all start with the same simple promise, take four single women, drop them into an irresistible setting for exactly seven days, and see who falls in love. Each volume brings together novellas by Julia Kelly and three fellow contemporary romance authors.

In One Week in Wyoming, a best selling romance novelist invites four writer friends to her family's luxury lodge in Jackson. While the women are supposed to ski, soak in the hot tub, and talk shop, their host's husband quietly arranges for his old college buddies to show up at the same time. The result is a week of flirty conversations, snowstorms, and, in Kelly's story, a supposed vacation fling between cautious author Lydia Reed and wine maker Evan Sullivan.

One Week in Hawaii trades snow for surf. The group decamps to a tropical resort where weddings, film shoots, and long delayed reunions collide. Kelly's novella The Wedding Week follows no nonsense planner Annie Kalani as she tries, and fails, to keep a strict line between her professional life and her unexpected attraction to visiting chef Chris Benson.

The final collection, One Week in December, leans into twinkle lights and family traditions. Four linked stories track couples who are finding, renewing, or questioning love during a single winter week. Kelly contributes Kiss Me at Midnight, the story of Allina Hemphill, a woman who has endured one parental blind date too many until a Christmas Eve setup leads to the right man at last.

While every novella can be read on its own, the fun of the series comes from watching how the authors weave their plots around one another. Side characters in one story become leads in another, scenes overlap from different angles, and each anthology feels like spending a week inside a friend group where everyone is secretly rooting for everyone else to get a happy ending.
