Outgoing transfer student Noshiro wants to befriend Sanada, a withdrawn classmate surrounded by rumors about his sexuality. As he breaks through Sanada's reserve, their growing friendship begins to raise unfamiliar questions about his own feelings.

Noshiro and Sanada's friendship deepens, but other people's feelings complicate their connection. Sanada's childhood friend Ayumi reveals her crush, while new student Makoto brings another romantic interest into an already uncertain circle.

Noshiro, Sanada, Ayumi, and Makoto face difficult questions about first love and their own identities. In the final volume, even apparently self-assured Sanada struggles to understand his feelings as the friends consider what comes next.

Tomoko notices that Hiroki has become unusually enthusiastic about his classmate Daigo. While her husband works abroad, she quietly supports her eldest son as he navigates a crush he has trouble keeping secret.

Hiroki has his mother's and younger brother's support as he works out his sexuality, but his father remains oblivious. Tomoko considers how to help when Akiyoshi's casual assumptions hurt a son he dearly loves.

Hiroki's crush becomes more complicated when Daigo gets a girlfriend and childhood friend Asumi appears interested in him. Tomoko watches over her eldest son as changing friendships bring new questions about love and belonging.

Hiroki embraces dancing and afterschool activities with Daigo while facing Asumi's longstanding feelings for him. His father's return home changes the family's routines, prompting Tomoko to take a more direct role in supporting her son.

Tomoko suspects her teenage son Hiroki likes boys, although he is doing his best to keep it secret. As school and family routines continue, she quietly supports him while giving him space to understand his own feelings.
