Third Time's the Charm brings Sunny Voorhees David back home carrying grief of her own and unfinished business with Henry Delmar.

The series starts with grief, but it does not stay there.

There is also a novella tucked into the larger arc. Prince Not Quite Charming adds a lighter opposites-attract story, and A Morning Glory Wedding returns to the town through Brandy Robbins, a woman most of Morning Glory would rather judge than understand. That shorter story fits the spirit of the series really well, because it is about grace, gossip, and the slow work of being forgiven.

Morning Glory itself matters almost as much as the couples do. It is a Mississippi town full of long memories, close friendships, meddling opinions, and people who notice when somebody is hurting even when they pretend not to. Some books travel to New York, Florida, or New Orleans for a while, but the emotional center stays in Morning Glory. The question is often not just who will this character love, but whether she can make peace with the place that first shaped her.

Expect warmth, second chances, and just a touch of whimsy, especially in the way Lacy's gifts seem to keep working long after she is gone. Talley writes these books with plenty of heart, but she keeps them grounded in real fears about trust, self-worth, and starting over. Read in order if you can. The friendships, callbacks, and shared healing make the whole series feel richer.
