These stories like banter, chemistry, and big feelings, but they also leave room for messier issues like reputation, career setbacks, divorce, grief, and second chances. Getting Wound Up adds a crossover detour with Erin Nicholas, and later entries widen the world while keeping the Catfish at the center.

If you want contemporary romance with a playful hook and a clear shared setting, this is one of Bernard's easiest series to sink into. Start at All of Me if you want the full Kilby experience, then keep going and watch the team become its own little matchmaking machine.
