Series background & context

The London Sullivans takes Bella Andre's big-family romance approach and drops it into a setting that feels both urban and tucked away. These books are rooted in London, but they also make space for quieter corners, especially Elderflower Island and the close-knit community around it. The result is a branch of the Sullivan family that feels fresh without losing the warmth readers come to the series for.

London matters here.

You get bookstores, houseboats, hidden corners, family teasing, and a nice contrast between busy modern life and the slower, almost village-like rhythm of the island setting. That balance gives the romances a lot of texture. The characters are dealing with work, inheritance, family secrets, and old heartbreak, but they are doing it in places that feel romantic before anyone even kisses.

Like the other Sullivan books, these stories are built around one couple at a time while the family stays present in the background. That means there is still plenty of meddling, support, and recurring character energy. The big difference is atmosphere. The London books feel a little more bookish and reflective, with setting doing extra emotional work.

If you want the comfort of the Sullivan universe with a slightly different flavor, this branch is a great choice. Start with As Long As I Have You for the bookstore-and-inheritance setup, then move on to Stars Shine In Your Eyes.
