Light Online Books in Order

Desperate for work, Eddie Hunter accepts a job farming inside a virtual world. The assignment proves more literal than expected, while suspicious employers and the game’s watchful artificial intelligence complicate his efforts to earn a living.

Eddie’s life increasingly revolves around the virtual world where he works, builds an inn, and forms relationships. A growing goblin threat and a newly discovered dungeon force him to balance business responsibilities with dangerous adventures.

Eddie’s expanding settlement needs stronger defences when an angry artificial intelligence turns its attention toward him. With friends helping to withstand attacks, he works to build a castle and protect the community they have created.

Eddie’s growing settlement attracts new quests and increasingly complicated responsibilities. As his work inside Light Online generates unexpected game content, he must balance building a community with adventures and the interventions of the world’s artificial intelligence.

With a castle built and business thriving, Eddie pursues a quest that could transform his settlement into a kingdom. New communities, forest elves, and treachery among the game’s inhabitants make leadership more complicated than construction.
