At forty, freshly divorced and an empty nester, Jessie takes a caretaker job for a creepy old house in a small mountain town. Ivy House turns out to be sentient and magical, and it has chosen her as its next heir whether she feels ready or not.

Ivy House needs a proper teacher for Jessie, and the magical summons she sends out attracts far more than mild tutors. As a powerful neighboring mage comes calling, Austin must confront his feelings for Jess, his past with his brother, and threats no shifter has faced before.

Elliot Graves has been poking at Jessie’s territory from afar. Now the Ivy House crew takes the fight to his doorstep. On his home turf, surrounded by traps and strange magic, Jessie has to lead her oddball team into a confrontation she may not be ready for.
