When an opportunity arrives to caretake an old house in a small Sierra foothills town, it feels like equal parts escape plan and last resort.
The house is not just old. It is Ivy House, a sentient magical estate that has been quietly looking for a new heir. The town is not just quaint. It is packed with gargoyles, shifters, witches, and other beings hiding in plain sight. Jessie walks in expecting to mend a roof and repaint walls. Instead she finds a snarky, cape wearing butler, a bar run by an infuriatingly attractive alpha shifter named Austin, and a destiny she never signed up for.
Magical Midlife Madness starts with Jess trying to put her life back together and slowly realizing the house expects much more from her.
