Series background & context
Lenox Ranch Cowboys is a historical western romance series set in 1885 Montana Territory. The central idea is simple and appealing: five Lenox sisters, one ranch, and a run of love stories that pair each woman with the cowboy who is stubborn enough to keep up with her.
The series includes Cowboys and Kisses, Spurs and Satin, Reins and Ribbons, Brands and Bows, and Lassos and Lace. These books share family ties and a strong sense of place, so even though each romance stands on its own, they are more satisfying in order.
Compared with the Bridgewater books, this series is more traditional in its romantic shape. It still has heat, high emotion, and frontier pressure, but the ongoing pull is the Lenox family itself. The sisters are strong-willed, the men are persistent, and the ranch setting keeps daily life, reputation, and survival close to the surface.
If you want historical cowboy romance without the Bridgewater marriage custom, this is a good next step.
