Bridgewater County is Vanessa Vale's contemporary return to the world she built in her historical Bridgewater books. The old custom is still there, the Montana setting still matters, and the promise is the same. In Bridgewater, one cowboy is never enough.
These books move the idea into the present day. Instead of frontier survival, you get modern jobs, guest ranches, law enforcement, big-city visitors, family expectations, and women who often arrive in town carrying stress, secrets, or plans that do not include falling for two men at once. Then Bridgewater does what Bridgewater does.
