Series background & context
Knights of Sin MC is Erin Trejo's motorcycle club romance series about people trying to build relationships while carrying difficult histories. The club gives the books a shared community, but the romantic problems are personal: a love abandoned years ago, a stranger remembered from captivity, or the difficulty of trusting someone after being hurt. The sequence begins with Never Letting Go and continues with Learning to Love.
In Never Letting Go, Micah has spent years away from Aubrie after pushing her out of his life. Joining the Marines did not make him forget her, and a return driven by bad news puts him back on the path toward the woman he left. Aubrie, meanwhile, has built a life that looks settled without necessarily making her happy. His reappearance raises questions that time and distance have left unresolved.
Coming home does not put the old relationship back in place.
The first book uses that reunion to explore the difference between wanting someone and knowing how to stay with them. Micah brings memories and promises, but Aubrie has had to live through the consequences of his absence. Their conflict is rooted in a shared past rather than a first meeting. The setting around the club makes returning more complicated because a relationship also means deciding what kind of life, and what kind of belonging, each person wants.
Learning to Love centers on Bullet and Trinity. Bullet has made the club his family after distancing himself from his father. During captivity he shares an unseen connection with a young woman whose voice becomes important to him. Trinity has been taken because of her father's debts, and the voice she hears offers something to hold on to. Their connection begins under threat, before either has the usual chance to know the other.
Those two openings show the range within the series' common interests. One relationship is burdened by years of familiarity; another starts with a bond formed in circumstances neither person chose. In both, a chance at closeness involves confronting what happened before the romance could move forward. The club supplies brotherhood and continuity, while the couples bring different experiences of loss, fear, and attachment into that environment.
Continue from the first two books to Fighting For A Chance, Keeping Faith, One More Try, and Promise of Love. Reading in that sequence introduces the club through its earliest relationships before widening the circle. Expect romance with suspense, captivity, and emotional wounds alongside the attraction. The linking question is whether people who have learned to protect themselves through distance or loyalty to a group can make room for another kind of commitment.
