Series background & context

The Kingdom of Fae books begin with a woman who thinks her life is small and controlled, then blow the doors off that idea. Nadya has spent years living under her father's rules, trying not to push too hard against the limits around her. In The Guardian, one accident and one touch with Liam Caldwell reveal that both of them are much more than they seem.

After that, there is no going back.

Liam is a Sidhe guardian, the bond between them is immediate, and the world on the other side of the portal is real. The series moves between the familiar and the fantastical, using Nadya's growing power and her link to Liam to pull readers deeper into Talamh, her mother's land. What begins as attraction and protection quickly becomes a question of legacy, identity, and what role Nadya is meant to play in a much larger story.

The books are novella-length, so they move quickly, but the feel is classic portal fantasy romance. Expect magical politics, mate bonds, hidden lineage, and a heroine who has to decide whether safety was ever really safety at all.
