Iron Horse Books in Order

Iron Horse trades biker bars for barns, back roads, and ranch land. This three-book series is set in Geneva, Florida, a place Danielle Norman has described as old-school, country, and nothing like the version of Florida most people picture first. The result is a contemporary romance series with a real small-town cowgirl feel, but without leaning fully into western genre habits.

At the center are the Kelly sisters, London, Paris, and Holland. They are country women through and through, tied to horses, land, hard work, and a town where everybody notices what everybody else is doing. That local texture matters. You get ranch life, horse stables, stubborn pride, and the pressure that comes when family history and public reputation live right beside each other.

London Is Falling / Stetson opens with London trying to keep the family operation going after her father's death while doubters close in and a sheriff wants more than a one-night stand. Paris in Love / Slow Burn keeps the Kelly family at the center and deepens the series' mix of country life, family tension, and slow-building romance. Holland at War / Steadfast then pushes the sharpest personality into the spotlight, turning Holland's long-running war with neighbor Reid Brooks into a full enemies-to-lovers story, with outside threats forcing them to work together.

That line fits the whole series. The women in Iron Horse are not decorative country heroines waiting for somebody else to take over. They handle the work, the land, and the fallout when things go wrong. The romances grow out of that reality. Attraction matters, of course, but so do property lines, town politics, community pressure, and the basic question of who is going to stand firm when life gets rough.

The setting gives the books their own flavor inside Norman's larger body of work. There is humor here and plenty of chemistry, but the atmosphere is more boots-and-hay than leather-and-chrome. If you like small-town romance with capable women, local history, horse-country energy, and men who have to earn their place beside the heroine, Iron Horse is the series to pick up. It is Florida, just not the postcard version.
