She wants answers about the missing girls, but she also wants to know whether the sister she has been chasing in memory can truly be reached.

If you are deciding between this series and the later trilogy editions, the easiest difference is format. Season One through Season Eleven give you the same larger adventure in shorter, punchier installments. If you like serialized storytelling, regular cliffhangers, and the feeling of a mystery steadily widening one dangerous step at a time, this is the version to choose.
