Series background & context

Immortal Hearts of San Francisco is a paranormal romance series set in a glossy, dangerous version of San Francisco, where vampires move through nightclubs, mansions, and the city's darker corners. At its center is The Lost Boys, a rock band whose members are also vampires. Each book gives a different couple the spotlight, while familiar characters, old grudges, and supernatural threats carry forward.

The series starts with Tempted by a Vampire. Cian DeMarco is a vampire and the lead singer of the band, used to keeping his immortal life separate from ordinary people. Maggie De la Rosa has just arrived in San Francisco for a fresh start, but one night at Club Royal puts her in Cian's path. Their attraction is immediate, though Cian's past and his dangerous hunger make a simple romance impossible.

Music, magic, and loyalty run through the whole series.

Captivated by a Vampire follows newly turned vampire Chelle Masterson as she tries to find her place in a life she never planned. Her connection with troubled journalist Josh Barrett gives the series a human perspective on the vampire world. In Rocked by a Vampire, Cian's twin brother Lane has to confront the trauma that still controls him when he falls for Vanessa, a witch he has every reason to distrust.

Later books widen the circle. Possessed by a Vampire pairs musician Preston Knight, known as Elvis to his friends, with Lily Gray, a vampire trapped by obligations and secrets. Protected by a Vampire follows the oldest member of the band, Gage McAllister, and Acelynn Baird, a young woman with a link to his long-buried past. Bewitched by a Vampire returns to Lane and Vanessa when a spell and an old prediction threaten to change the shape of their future.

The romantic couples change, but the larger found family stays important. The vampires protect one another, even when their histories make trust difficult. Witches, psychic predictions, old enemies, and the practical problem of living forever keep the stakes moving beyond a single love story.

Expect a steamy, character-led paranormal romance with rock-star glamour and supernatural danger. The books work as individual romances, but Tempted by a Vampire is the best place to begin because it introduces Cian, Maggie, the band, and the San Francisco setting that ties everything together.
