Hellbrary Books in Order

Hellbrary is an underworld fantasy centered on a library that could decide the fate of Hell, Earth, and Heaven. The Great Library of the Underworld holds dangerous magical books written across the ages. Its collections are guarded by witch-librarians who serve the king of the Underworld, and the job is not about quiet shelves or overdue notices. The knowledge inside can change who rules everything.

The first book, The Underworld Library, follows Eve, one of those librarians. She has little magic compared with her colleagues and no memory of the life she lived before arriving at the Hellbrary. That missing past gives the story a personal mystery alongside the larger political crisis. Eve is loyal to the library, but she is still figuring out what loyalty means when the people who command it have their own secrets.

When a dangerous book is stolen, Eve has to recover it. Her team includes a Gorgon librarian, a hellhound, and Azarr, a shapeshifting royal envoy whose motives are difficult to read. Their search moves through a supernatural court where the rules are old, power is personal, and the wrong alliance can have consequences far beyond the library walls.

The immediate threat comes from Ral, the exiled son of King Caldrius. He returns with an army to challenge his father, but the crown is not enough. Ral needs control of the library and the magic it contains. His ambitions extend beyond Hell, putting the human world and the heavens in danger as well.

Eve's answer may be even riskier than the problem. To stop Ral, she and her allies consider awakening Viridia, the Queen of the Witches, who was imprisoned long ago after becoming too powerful for the king to control. The witches have served Caldrius under threat ever since. Freeing their queen could change the balance of power, but it could also release something no one can contain.

Start with The Underworld Library. It establishes Eve's missing history, the Hellbrary's strange staff, and the fight over who gets to use knowledge as a weapon. The tone is adventurous and darkly magical, with libraries, court intrigue, monsters, and a heroine who has to discover what she can do when the world assumes she has very little power.
