Brad Strickland's Grimoire series follows Jarvey Midion, a twelve-year-old boy who expects a dull trip to London for the reading of a distant relative's will. Instead, he is pulled into a mystery surrounding a powerful magical book and finds himself trapped in a version of the city that is not quite his own.
