Glimmer and Glow Books in Order

Glimmer and Glow is a two book story, but it covers a lot of ground inside that small space. What begins as a high voltage romance between ambitious young Alice Reed and billionaire CEO Dylan Fall gradually opens into something darker, stranger, and more emotionally tangled. Beth Kery starts with the kind of setup that feels sleek and glamorous, then keeps pulling at the seams.

In Glimmer, Alice has just finished her MBA and lands a coveted position at legendary Camp Durand, the training ground tied to Dylan's company. She is smart, hard working, and not from the polished world the program usually recruits from. Dylan notices her quickly, and the attraction between them is immediate. So is the imbalance of power, which Kery never lets the reader ignore for long.

Then the story deepens.

By the time you move into Glow, the books are doing more than telling a workplace billionaire romance. Family history, hidden truths, and questions of identity start taking over the frame. That gives the duet a different feel from some of Kery's other series. The erotic tension is still there, but it is paired with a heavier mystery atmosphere, and with the sense that both leads are standing on top of things they do not yet fully understand.

Dylan is one of Kery's classic heroes in some ways, intensely controlled, wealthy, magnetic, and carrying damage. Alice works because she is not just overwhelmed by him. She is thoughtful, practical, and willing to question what she is being offered. Their relationship has plenty of heat, but also plenty of friction, and the second book depends on both of them learning that desire alone is not enough.

If you want a Beth Kery story that starts glossy and turns more shadowed as it goes, Glimmer and Glow does that very well. It is best read in order, because the second book is not a reset. It is the payoff to the first book's emotional tension and the larger mystery wrapped around it.
