Tone-wise, For You sits in a sweet spot. It is steamier and more intense than a typical light contemporary, but usually less dark than Alexa Riley's roughest work. There is danger, jealousy, and plenty of alpha energy, yet the books still read like glossy fantasy romance, not bleak suspense. If For Her is the big corporate engine, For You is the spin-off that stays close to the heartbeat.
