Eric Carstairs of Zanthodon Books in Order

Adventurer Eric Carstairs and Professor Potter descend by helicopter into Zanthodon, a prehistoric realm beneath the Sahara. A crash leaves them stranded among dinosaurs and ancient peoples, where capture by Neanderthals introduces them to fellow prisoners and new dangers.

Separated in the subterranean realm of Zanthodon, Eric Carstairs, Professor Potter, and their native companions struggle against different enemies. A pirate captain, Neanderthals, the Gorpaks, and their leechlike masters threaten the scattered adventurers as they seek one another.

Separated from her companions, Darya is abducted by Kairadine, the corsair prince of the fortified island El-Cazar. Her father King Garth gathers his people for an invasion, drawing Zanthodon's rival societies into a struggle over her captivity.

With Eric Carstairs and Professor Potter imprisoned by the dinosaur-worshipping Minoans of Zaar, Hurok and Garth search for their missing companions. Elsewhere, Tharn pursues the abducted Darya, intertwining rescue efforts across the prehistoric underground world of Zanthodon.

Eric Carstairs and Darya continue their lives in Zanthodon, the prehistoric land beneath the Sahara. This concluding adventure follows their changing fortunes among native peoples and fellow surface-world exiles, including Africans and survivors of the Second World War.
