EMP Survivor Books in Order

The EMP Survivor books follow Charlie Owens, a man who would much rather spend his time protecting his family than getting pulled into one more fight. That private goal becomes impossible the moment the power grid goes down and the country starts breaking apart around him.

The opening books set the tone well. In The Last Island, Charlie is trying to get his family out of danger and toward a remote island refuge. The Last Flag keeps that pressure on after the immediate escape, showing how quickly even a secluded place can stop feeling safe. The Last Rebellion makes it clear that the EMP was not the end of the problem, only the beginning of a larger conflict Charlie had hoped to avoid.

This series gets bigger as it goes.

Later books like The Last Bunker, The Last Prepper, The Last Storm, and The Last War widen the scale from family survival to organized resistance and the question of whether any real stability can be rebuilt. Hunt still keeps the emotional center close to Charlie, though. The books work because Charlie is not chasing glory. He is trying to keep the people he loves alive while other people keep making that harder.

If you like post-apocalyptic series that begin with an escape-to-safety setup and then grow into a longer campaign of defense, retaliation, and endurance, EMP Survivor is an easy one to sink into. It has the brisk pace Hunt usually brings to survival fiction, plus a main character whose priorities stay human even when the world stops behaving that way.
