Lucy hates the idea of losing Glade, a special mood dragon her mother plans to sell. But as the family looks beyond their own worries, Glade's next home may matter more than anyone expects.

When Lucy thinks there's a monster in her bedroom, her mother makes a guard dragon to help. Gruffen soon learns the fear is real enough, and solving it means protecting more than just Lucy.
