Don Broyles Books in Order

Don Broyles collects fifty-seven brief tales combining horror with dark humor. Strange clowns, creatures beneath beds, an imperiled doughboy, and unsettling journeys turn familiar situations into bizarre nightmares, with compact stories exploring both the frightening and the absurd.

A group of mismatched strangers remains trapped in a shopping-mall elevator for years while passing crowds ignore their pleas. As rescue fails to arrive, the occupants’ eccentricities and violent impulses turn their confined existence into a surreal mixture of horror and dark comedy.

Prose poems and short fiction venture into unsettling worlds of mannequins, malevolent dolls and other strange presences. Don Broyles combines horror and dark humor, turning everyday objects and nighttime disturbances into brief encounters with the bizarre and threatening.
