Deltora Quest Books in Order

Having recovered two gems of the Belt of Deltora, Lief, Barda, and Jasmine continue searching for the third. Their journey leads toward the forbidden City of the Rats, where unknown horrors threaten their effort to overthrow the Shadow Lord.

News from home makes Lief long to abandon his quest, but he and his companions still need three gems. Their search for the fifth takes them near the Shadowlands, into Dread Mountain and the domain of monstrous toad Gellick.

With the seven gems restored to the Belt of Deltora, Lief, Barda, and Jasmine must find the rightful heir who can wield it. Returning toward Del brings new suspicions and dangers as they prepare to challenge the Shadow Lord's rule.

The Shadow Lord's conquest follows the theft of the seven gems protecting Deltora. Armed with a hand-drawn map, Lief and Barda leave home to recover them, beginning their dangerous search in the sinister Forests of Silence.

Lief, Barda, and their unpredictable new companion Jasmine seek the second gem needed to restore Deltora's magical belt. Their route leads into territory controlled by sorceress Thaegan, whose monsters and treacherous domain threaten to end the quest.

The Shadow Lord learns of Lief, Barda, and Jasmine's search for Deltora's stolen gems, increasing the danger around them. Seeking the next stone takes them toward a deadly maze, where the monstrous Glus and other enemies test their courage.

Lief, Barda, and Jasmine enter a barren wasteland to recover the fourth stolen gem of Deltora's magical belt. An unknown guardian, dangerous enemies, and the threat of separation make the Shifting Sands another formidable obstacle in their quest.

Six gems have been restored to Deltora's belt, but the final stone remains in the mist-filled Valley of the Lost. Lief, Barda, and Jasmine must face its Guardian's challenge, risking permanent imprisonment if they cannot solve the valley's mysteries.
