The fourth book, Murder on the Commons, opens with a grim discovery in a Cornwall bog on the grounds of Poldue Manor. The inquiry grows beyond the moors as the team tries to identify the victim and understand why someone would leave a body in such a public, unsettling place. The case widens the scope of the series while keeping its focus on people, loyalties, and the consequences of secrets.
