Series background & context

Curvy Love is one of the earlier, more grounded corners of Aidy Award's work.

These books stay in contemporary romance and erotic romance territory, with curvy heroines at the center and a strong interest in desire, confidence, and figuring out what kind of relationship actually works for each woman. The tone is more intimate than the big paranormal series, but the books still move fast and like a bold setup.

The women drive these stories.

In Curvy Temptation, Curvy Persuasion, and Curvy Diversion, the heroines are dealing with bad patterns, unreal expectations, creative frustration, friendship, and the pull of kink or power exchange. One book may send a character into a club for research, another into a tropical getaway with a longtime friend, and another into a romance she never planned on starting. What links them is the sense that each heroine has to claim her own version of pleasure and self-respect before the happy ending can really stick.

There is also a nice looseness to this series. These are not huge fantasy epics with a villain waiting around the corner. They are smaller, more personal stories about chemistry, vulnerability, and the difference between being desired and being truly seen. If you like contemporary romance that is sexy but also interested in body image and emotional honesty, Curvy Love is an easy place to start.

It is a good reminder of what Aidy Award keeps doing across genres. Whether the hero is a Dom, a photographer, or something supernatural in later books, the deeper point is often the same: the heroine deserves the full love story, exactly as she is.
