Campfire Macabre Books in Order

The Campfire Macabre books are multi-author horror anthologies made for readers who want a lot of scares in short bursts. Rather than following one protagonist or one continuing plot, each volume gathers dozens of flash and short horror stories under a handful of shared themes. The result has the variety of a campfire-story session, except the campfire keeps moving from haunted houses to body horror to strange things in the woods.

The first Campfire Macabre groups more than fifty original pieces into five sections: spook houses, supernatural slashers, witchcraft, woods, and cemetery chillers. That structure makes it easy to dip in and out. You can read a few stories from one theme, move on to another, or take the whole book as a fast run through several classic horror setups.
