Broken Court Books in Order

Broken Court is a dark fae trilogy with a heroine who is much sharper around the edges than the usual fantasy lead. Lucinda has already been exiled once, and she has no interest in returning to the Fae Islands or reopening old wounds. Then Finn arrives, asking for help, and going home becomes the only path left.

That setup gives the series its bite. Lucinda is angry, funny, guarded, and used to handling problems on her own. Finn is tied to the place she hates and to the darkness that makes everything more complicated. Their chemistry runs on tension from the start, but the bigger draw is the way the books throw them into fae politics, old betrayals, and a king who has already done serious damage.

This is not a soft, airy fae world. It is a place with exile, power struggles, and plenty of reasons not to trust anyone too quickly. The romance matters, but so does Lucinda's need to reclaim control over her own story and decide whether letting people in is a strength or a risk.

The court is a mess, in the best way.

Readers who like their fae romance a little darker, with anti-hero energy and a strong revenge thread, will probably have a good time here.
