Bolo Books in Order

Bolo is the long-running military SF setting built around a memorable idea: intelligent, heavily armed battle tanks designed to fight humanity’s worst wars, and to do it with a code of honor. David Weber’s Bolo work leans into that tension between cold machine logic and the very human values the machines are taught to protect.

Most Bolo stories are self-contained. You might follow a single cybertank and its human allies in a doomed defense, a last-stand retreat, or a campaign where the “right” move is also the one that breaks your heart.
