Bleach Manga synopsis

Teenager Ichigo Kurosaki can see the dead, but his life is upended when he inherits the powers of Rukia, a Soul Reaper injured during a Hollow attack. While protecting his hometown and guiding lost spirits onward, Ichigo is drawn into Soul Society’s rigid politics, war with the Quincy, and conflicts that test the loyalties and identities of friends and enemies alike.
