Jiya, meanwhile, dreams of becoming a pilot and of finally getting stubborn Andrew to admit he feels what she feels. A moonlit tryst, old guilt, and parental expectations all collide as they decide whether friendship is really safer than the all-in love they both crave.

Beach Kingdom’s charm lies in its mix of sun-drenched escapism and real-world stakes. The lifeguard stand is both a literal and figurative lookout point, where characters scan the horizon for riptides and also for the emotional trouble headed their way. The Prince siblings bicker, meddle, and close ranks when it counts, giving the trilogy a strong family spine.

Expect lifeguard drills, boardwalk bars, late-night swims, and plenty of steam. Underneath the tan lines and surf, though, the series keeps asking the same question: what does it mean to stay, really stay, for a place and a person when running has always felt safer?
