Series background & context

The Bad Habit series follows a world-famous rock band and the three women who upend the carefully managed chaos of life on the road. Set mostly in Los Angeles and the surrounding music scene, the books balance gritty backstage drama with surprisingly tender love stories.

Sweet as Sin introduces makeup artist Kat Reid, who wants nothing to do with rock stars but agrees to work on a video shoot to pay her bills. There she meets Nico Nyx, the tattooed front man of Bad Habit, who is used to women falling at his feet. Kat is not impressed, which only makes him more determined to win her, and their chemistry plays out against obsessive fans, industry pressure, and a very real external threat.

In Make Me Sin, good-girl florist Chloe Carmichael clashes with drummer A J Edwards while planning her best friend’s celebrity wedding. He is everything she swears she does not want, from the ink to the attitude, but shared secrets and a serious danger tied to his past force them to trust each other far more than either intended.

Sin With Me focuses on Brody Scott, the band’s guitarist, and Grace Stanton, a bartender still recovering from the car crash that stole both her family and her memory. Grace keeps strict rules about relationships to protect herself, but Brody’s own guilt and trauma mirror hers in ways neither of them expect, turning a fling into a lifeline when their darkest moments collide.

The companion novella Hot As Sin is a wild, one-night snapshot of the band’s world as they throw a blowout farewell party for their long-time bodyguard, Barney. It is a bridge to the Dangerous Beauty series, introducing new security-world characters while giving readers one last, chaotic glimpse of the rockers they have been following.

Across all four stories you can expect explicit heat, strong language, and plots that weave real emotional issues like addiction, guilt, and survivor’s remorse into what could otherwise be straightforward rock-star fantasies. The band becomes a found family for the heroines as much as for each other, and by the end the Bad Habit world feels lived-in and surprisingly soft around the edges.
