Series background & context

Bad Boys of the NHL is Heather C Myers at her boldest and most taboo-heavy. These are short, high-heat hockey romances about players who are possessive, impulsive, and not especially interested in behaving well.

Sweet is not the point here.

The series leans hard into provocative setups, step-siblings, age gaps, auctions, sister's best friend trouble, and other morally messy complications. Hockey gives the heroes status, money, and ego, but the real hook is watching reckless attraction bulldoze straight through common sense.

Because the books are compact, Myers moves fast. There is very little warm-up. A situation sparks, the tension spikes, and the story goes straight for the emotional and physical complication. These are character-driven fantasies, not deep team epics.

If you want short sports romances with bad-boy energy and very little interest in staying polite, this series delivers exactly that. It works best for readers who know they enjoy darker or more daring romance setups and want the NHL sheen on top.
