Angels and Outlaws Books in Order

For Donna Kauffman readers, Angels and Outlaws is best thought of as a themed anthology stop rather than a big self-contained Donna-only series. Her connection here comes through Black Satin, which carries the mix of danger, seduction, and slightly lawless energy the line promises.

That matters because the reading experience is different from something like Blueberry Cove or Blue Hollow Falls. You are not following one continuing town cast through several books. You are dropping into a mood, romantic danger with a rough edge, where the hero may look like trouble and the woman involved is rarely interested in being handled.

The title gives the tone away. These stories lean toward risk, temptation, and people operating a little outside the comfortable center. Kauffman was good at that kind of setup in her earlier work.

So if you land here looking for a long Donna Kauffman family saga, adjust expectations a bit. Angels and Outlaws is more of a side road. If you want a concentrated hit of her hotter, more dangerous side, though, it fits.
