There she meets Cael Woods, a former hockey prodigy whose life imploded after his brother died. As the group travels, Savannah and Cael slowly piece themselves back together and discover a second, very different love story born out of loss.

Together the two novels form a loose duology: the first offers an unforgettable, tragic first love, and the second explores what it means to keep living, and to fall for someone new, when your heart already feels broken beyond repair.
