Series background & context

The Last Time books are Weston Parker's second-chance shelf in concentrated form. These stories are built around homecomings, old flames, painful misunderstandings, and the kind of chemistry that never really went away. The titles, My Last Chance, My Last Secret, My Last Song, and My Last Shot, tell you exactly what emotional gear the series wants to hit.

These are reunion romances, but they are not light reunions. Time has passed, people have built lives, and in some cases there are secrets large enough to change everything. Hidden children, old heartbreak, unfinished conversations, and family history all have room here. Parker lets the longing do a lot of the work.

If you like romances where the question is not whether two people connect, but whether they can survive what happened before, this series is a strong match. Start with My Last Chance and read straight through.
