Zombies vs. Robots is one of those concepts that tells you the tone right away. It is pulp, mash-up, and apocalypse all at once, but the best versions of it do not work on gimmick alone. They work because the world feels chaotic enough that both sides, the flesh-eating dead and the armed machines, become believable threats in the same ruined landscape.
