Oops! I Summoned a Liderc

by Regine Abel

2025

Coral accidentally brings home Vazul, a sharp-tongued sex demon, while collecting her ex-roommate's belongings. When the roommate wants him back, Coral must decide whether to protect Vazul or run from the witch's plans.

Series background & context

Witches Love Monsters is a shared paranormal-romance project built around short, fun stories of witches, monsters, and very inconvenient attraction. Regine Abel's entry, Oops! I Summoned a Liderc, embraces the playful side of the premise while still giving its central couple a real problem to solve.

One wrong errand can ruin your whole week.

Coral only wants to collect the belongings her ex-roommate left behind. Instead, she accidentally brings back Vazul, a Liderc and sex demon with a sharp tongue. Casting him out should be the sensible option, especially when her former roommate Angelique wants him back. Coral soon finds that sensible is not the same as easy.

The story's tension comes from Coral's choice. Vazul is strange, tempting, and quickly hard to imagine losing. But Angelique's interest in reclaiming what she considers hers turns the situation into a supernatural fight over control, loyalty, and escape. Coral has to decide whether to protect the demon she summoned or save herself from the trouble surrounding him.

The wider project includes stories by several authors, so the books are designed to work as standalones rather than chapters in one long plot. That makes this an easy place to drop in for a quick paranormal read without needing a detailed reading order.

Start with Oops! I Summoned a Liderc for a compact romantic fantasy with witchy trouble, an irreverent demon, and a heroine whose accident becomes a choice about who she wants on her side.
