Wendy Heuvel likes to describe herself as Canadian by birth, Dutch by blood, and British by heart. Later on, her faith-based scripts picked up more recognition, including strong festival placements and screenplay honors in 2025 and 2026. She has also written award-winning devotionals, which fits the spiritual thread that runs through so much of her work.
