Web of Sin is the first Sparrow trilogy and a good place to start if you want Aleatha Romig's darker romantic suspense without jumping straight into her longest sagas. The tone is secretive, seductive, and built around an antihero who does not make life easy on anyone.
This series helped define the larger Sparrow world. Power, control, money, and hidden motives all matter, but the relationship at the center matters just as much. Romig keeps both pieces moving together.
Read Secrets, Lies, and Promises in order. There is also Vows, a bonus novella for readers who want a little more time in that world after the main trilogy.
