Vittone's Vampires Books in Order

Vittone's Vampires is one of Taylor Rylan's darker paranormal offshoots. It still lives in the same broad universe as the council, the warlocks, and the shifters, but the tone shifts fast once you step into the Vittone world. These are mafia vampires, based largely in Italy, with all the danger, loyalty, violence, and family obligation that comes with that setup.

That darker edge is the point.

Marcello opens the series with a vampire enforcer who scents his beloved in Montana and walks away because he thinks his own life is too dangerous to share. Sandro pushes even further into grief, trauma, and rescue, pairing a vampire who has lost the will to keep going with a younger mate trying to escape a brutal past. The books are still fated-mate romances, but they are willing to sit with heavier material on the way to the happy ending.

What keeps the series from feeling bleak is the family structure around it. The Vittone vampires may be dangerous, but they are not emotionally detached. They meddle, protect, punish, rescue, and close ranks fast. That gives the stories a strange balance of menace and care.

If you like the paranormal side of Rylan's work but want something moodier and more morally gray than Honey Creek or Timber Valley, this is the branch to try. It is still built on love and belonging. It just takes a rougher road to get there.
