Touched Saga Books in Order

The Touched Saga is Elisa S. Amore's paranormal romance series about Gemma Bloom and Evan James, a human girl and the Angel of Death who is supposed to kill her. It begins in Lake Placid, New York, where Gemma notices Evan's dark, unsettling presence and discovers that she can see someone who should be invisible to everyone else.

Evan is one of the Death Angels charged with making sure human beings follow their appointed paths. Gemma's time has come, and he has been sent to end her life. But he saves her instead. That choice puts both of them in danger, because fate, death, and the powerful forces behind Evan's world do not accept being ignored.

Everything gets harder from there.

The series combines forbidden romance with a larger fantasy world of Angels of Death, witches, dark secrets, and underworld power. Gemma is not simply a bystander in Evan's story. As the books continue, she learns more about the dangers around her and has to make choices that affect the people she loves. Evan, meanwhile, must decide whether he can keep fighting the role he was made to play.

Touched introduces their meeting and the basic rules of the world. Unfaithful follows the fallout after Evan's decision to defy death, as jealousy, betrayal, and old threats close in. In Brokenhearted, Gemma faces grief, nightmares, and an unsettling darkness growing inside her. The final main novel, Expiation, brings the story to its highest stakes, with a bargain, a looming transformation, and a fight to protect their family and their future.

The romance is intense, but the series is also about fate as a system that can be challenged. Gemma and Evan are repeatedly asked whether love is worth the cost when every victory creates another danger. The books keep the focus on their bond while widening the story into Heaven, Hell, and the conflicts between supernatural factions.

Two shorter prequel stories, The Shadow of Fate and The Mark of Fate, add background to Gemma and Evan. They are optional, and can be read before or after the main novels. The central story, however, is best read in publication order from Touched through Expiation.
