Tom Rynosseros Books in Order

In a distant future Australia, Tom Tyson travels aboard the sandship Rynosseros while searching for his forgotten identity. These linked stories introduce a landscape governed by powerful tribes, where advanced technology, strange customs, and elusive memories shape his adventures.

Tom Rynosseros, the mysterious Blue Captain, continues traveling through a future Australia controlled by powerful tribes. His adventures deepen the search for his identity after confinement in the Madhouse, hinting at a purpose extending beyond his own lost memories.

Remembering only a ship, a star, and a woman's face from the Madhouse, Tom Rynosseros searches for his past. These stories take him through Twilight Beach and across a future Australia's strange landscapes, pursuing clues to his confinement and identity.

This omnibus combines Rynosseros and Blue Tyson with The Library and Marmordesse in the intended reading order. The collected adventures follow sandship captain Tom Tyson across a future Australia as he searches for clues to his forgotten identity.

This volume gathers Twilight Beach and Rynemonn, adding Down Flowers and a new adventure, Calling Down the Sun. Tom Tyson continues seeking his lost identity while his encounters with outcasts and fellow captains increase tensions with Australia's ruling tribes.

This companion volume explores the creation of the Tom Rynosseros stories rather than continuing their adventures. Dowling discusses each story's development, tracing influences from childhood reading, music, art, fellow writers, editors, and collaborations that helped shape the saga.
