Tim2

Surviving his apparent death, Tim reunites with the sentient virus he calls Hugh and sets his sights higher. No longer content just to feed, he schemes to live, eat, and rule in a shattered world that doesn’t yet realize what hunts it.
Timothy
by Mark Tufo
2012
Timothy was awful in life, and death barely slows him down. Bitten on day one of the outbreak, he wakes trapped inside his own rotting body, sharing control with a self‑aware virus. Together they become a calculating, darkly comic predator.
Series background & context
The Timothy series steps away from heroic survivors and hands the microphone to one of the strangest monsters in the Tufoverse. Timothy is, by any measure, a terrible person – and undeath doesn’t improve him.
In Timothy, we meet a petty, self‑centered man whose life before the outbreak was already a mess. When he’s bitten on the first day of the zombie apocalypse, he doesn’t simply become another shambling corpse. Instead, he wakes trapped inside his own rotting body, sharing space with a self‑aware virus he nicknames Hugh.
Hugh controls the muscles; Tim provides the spite and curiosity. Together they become a predator that can pass for mindless when it needs to, then strike with deliberate, calculated cruelty when victims least expect it. Watching this internal tug‑of‑war between a monstrous consciousness and a man who refuses to let go of his ego gives the books a twisted energy.
Tim2 doubles down on that idea. Having survived what should have been his final end, Tim comes back with even bigger ambitions: living, eating, and, if he has his way, ruling whatever is left of the world. He and Hugh experiment with the limits of their condition, testing how much control they have over other infected and how far they can push their own decaying shell.
Tim Sliced, Diced and Cubed plays with structure and perspective, chopping up Tim’s story into episodes that fill in gaps, show side adventures, and explore just how far this zombie odd couple will go. The tone swings from pitch‑black humor to genuinely disturbing, often in the space of a single page.
These books tie into the main Zombie Fallout series in clever ways, offering alternate angles on familiar events and characters. The timelines don’t always line up neatly – by design – which lets Tufo explore “what if” scenarios without breaking his core narrative.
If you enjoy villains, moral gray areas, and the idea of a virus that might be the saner half of a partnership, the Timothy series offers a brutally funny, deeply warped tour of the apocalypse.
